November 2012 Pictures!
November went very fast. It was very warm here in CO. We had more days in the 60-70s than in the Spring. We spent a lot of time at the park. Thanksgiving came and went very fast too. We decided to stay home and take it easy this year. It was very nice. We also decided to break with tradition and grilled some stakes instead of having turkey. The weather was too nice to pass and waste it cooking a turkey all day. Austin started to loose some of his baby teeth too. Once the first one went, another got wiggly and fell as well. Now he is about to loose the 2 upper front teeth, so he will have a nice gap in his smile. We look forward to December. We have Jason's birthday on the 18th, Ariel and JoLynn's anniversary on the 22nd, and of course Christmas and New Year later on.

October 2012 Pictures!
October is always a fun month. We had our first couple snow storms, which was early but expected. Most of the leaves are gone from the trees. But the weather was pretty warm all things considered. Of course, Halloween was a lot of fun. The kids were very much into it. We had a trunk-or-treat at the church a few days before Halloween, and the the real thing on Oct 31. It was like 60F the night of Halloween, so we didn't have to rush to get back home and avoid freezing like in previous years. The kids got lots of candy and it looks like they will be eating that through Christmas. We had a couple of birthdays in October as well. JoLynn's on the 24th and Ariel's on the 29th. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and more snow in November. Time is flying.

September 2012 Pictures!
September came and went too fast. We tried to enjoy the last days of summer as much as possible before going into hiding for a few months. On Labor Day, JoLynn ran her 3rd marathon in Colorado Springs, CO. It was a lot of fun. We went to Colorado Springs the night before and stayed in a hotel downtown. The kids really enjoyed that. JoLynn started her run early in the morning while the rest of us slept in and later went swimming. Later, at the finish line, the kids got to greet their mom as she finished her 5 hr and 20 min jog. For the rest of September, we spent a lot of time at the park playing, biking, etc. before winter arrives. We already had our first snow of the season on October 5, so this may be a long winter. Jason seems excited to getting to play with snow and building a snowman. The kids are also talking a lot about Haloween and what they will dress as. October should be fun.

August 2012 Pictures!
We tried to enjoy the last full month of summer as much as possible. The kids got to go to the Highlands Ranch touch-a-truck day. They had all kids of trucks and equipment there. Kids could get on them and honk the horns, climb all over, touch everything they are typically not allowed to, etc. It was a lot of fun. Lots of people too. We also spent a lot of time at the park every evening enjoying the remaining good weather. Kylie is getting pretty good at basketball. The kids also finally started school again. Austin is in 1st grade and kylie in 3rd. They were so excited. They still like it and seem to be doing great. We are also excited for football to be back. Go Broncos and BYU! September will start busy, with JoLynn running a marathon in Colorado Springs on Labor Day. We look forward to getting some fall colors soon and cooler weather.

July 2012 Pictures!
July was a very eventful and fun month for us. We started the month in Utah for some 'vacation' time. Really we ended up running around all over the place doing all kinds of things and visiting a lot of people. It was a lot of fun though. The kids got to go miniture golfing, tour temple square and the conference center, went to their first 3D movie, visited a dinasour museum, went to the 4th of July parade in Provo, etc, etc. When then came to Denver and got ready for Kylie's baptism. We had some family in town and it was a very special and great day for everyone. Kylie really enjoyed it. She had been counting the days for many months. For the rest of the month the kids and us spent a lot of time going to parks, swimming, BBQing, etc. The kids are now getting ready to go back to school. They have been doing some homework to get used to things again. Kylie will be going to 3rd grade and Austin to 1st grade. Jason will still drive mom crazy at home all day.

June 2012 Pictures!
June was an eventful month for us. First, we had some of the worst stomrs we have had since we moved to Denver. Lots of rain, hail, wind, and everything in between. Kylie turn 8 years old on June 7. That's a big one. She will be getting baptized on July 7 as soon as we are back from Utah. She had a party with some of her favorite friends and really enjoyed it. That same day we took the kids inside a B-17, which was stopping in Denver for some events. That was cool. In June we also took the kids camping. We went to the same spot as we did last year, which has become one of our favorites. The kids were excited because they got to eat some junk food, which they don't get very often around here. Finally, towards the end of the month it really got hot. We had 5 days of over 100F degrees and we have had many large wild fires. The air has not been great in the Denver area. July will be fun. We will spend some time in Utah and then we will have some family in town for Kylie's baptism.

May 2012 Pictures!
May was a fun month. Spring (summer) is finally here. We have been able to get out and enjoy the sun. On Memorial Day we took the kids to hike Three Sisters park. It was great. Even Jason hiked for a full 2 hours without any trouble. The kids also finished school this month. Austin is done with kindergarden and he's ready for 1st grade. Kylie will be in 3rd grade next year. So, both Kylie and Austin will be in school all day. Also, Kylie finally learned to ride her bike without trainning wheels. She was very excited about that, until a couple of bad crashes. She is taking a break from riding for now. June will be fun. Kylie will be turning 8 (she is getting baptized on July 7. We will be going to Utah to visit grandparents and friends too.

April 2012 Pictures!
April was a very busy month. We started with Easter, of course. The kids were really excited about that. Jason really had fun. This was the first Easter when he sort of knew what was going on. He quickly learned that the more eggs he found, the more candy he got at the end. He is a smart kid. The weather in Denver has been very warm, maybe too warm, for this time of the year. So we have been able to go outside and enjoy. This may be a long summer unless we get some water soon though. May will be the last month of school for the kids, so we will be able to start doing things like camping, hiking, etc.
